| Bridges is a specialised consulting, offering high-quality evaluation, monitoring, and project management services. Bridges was established in Brussels in 1997 and is managed by Marco Lorenzoni; it has provided services to 12 Directorates-General of the European Commission, to the International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group), the Council of Europe, UNCTAD, UNIDO, the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (OSHA), the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA), the Czech Ministry for Labour and Social Affairs, and the European Business Register (EBR). From September 2008 to the end of May 2010, Marco committed full-time with ICANN, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers as their Director for Organizational Reviews. In this role, he helped the Organization in introducing more accountable and transparent evaluation processes, in defining the specific empowerment review processes required to implement a major agreement signed between the Corporation and the US Government, and in coordinating the evaluation of the key structures of ICANN. The growing reputation of Bridges is based on the knowledge and practice of sound methodologies on evaluation, monitoring and management and their application to a wide range of policy areas.
