The Network on Development Evaluation is a subsidiary body of the Development Assistance Committee (DAC), sponsored by OECD. Its purpose is to increase the effectiveness of international development programmes by supporting robust, informed and independent evaluation. The Network brings together evaluation managers and specialists from OECD development cooperation agencies and multilateral development institutions. This is their main website.

A guide (known as “The Guide”), source books and a glossary are available for free download. Although the quality of the documents is outstanding, the download process is somehow burdensome.

If you need to start your search from somewhere and are a bit unsure, start from here, and then go to other specialised websites to integrate what you miss. The majority of links are to US resources, even if in the last years Gene made a lot of efforts in enlarging his focus to worldwide resources.
