‘ I launched my independent activity in 1997, taking stock of my previous 15 years of work, and after my three initial years in Brussels, spent to get familiar with the world of international institutions, and to manage my first European projects.
‘ The selection of the name "Bridges" as my business identity was a relatively simple process: the services that I propose aim to facilitate dialogue and cooperation in order to achieve common goals, involving different parties in common practices and learning exercises.
‘ The name “Bridges” was perfect to symbolise this vision: human beings are bridges-builders by definition (languages are bridges), and the building of bridges among different cultures helps in fighting mistrust and conflicts.’
Bridges works in network with several Independent Evaluators and small Evaluation consulting firms, covering the large majority of Europe and many extra-European countries. It has promoted and manages now the Independent Evaluators' Webring.
